Long Named Cookies

Ahh, yes…back to those cookies I whipped up after traumatizing myself on Sunday. Mini Vegan Oatmeal Blueberry and Carob Chip Cookies. We’re gonna have to think of a shorter name than that because I could’ve eaten two cookies by the time I was done telling you their name.

These cookies are healthy and miniature size…so it’s OK if you eat more than one. If you’re really stressed like me you could eat 4. And cookie dough, of course 🙂 Life’s too short to not lick the spoon!

THE

BOMB DOT COM

Since there is no added sugar, no oil and there is oatmeal and fruit I totally think this is breakfast acceptable. Am I right, or am I right?

Besides eating cookies for breakfast every morning I’ve been OBSESSED with having cereal. But not just one kind… I need combos. A little bit of everything 🙂

In this bowl: Cinnamon Cheerios, Kashi Honey Sunshine, Kashi Go Lean w/ more cinnamon & chia seeds with Unsweetened Original Almond Milk. De.Freaking.Licious.

Last night I came home to a surprise. My entire family was over for an impromptu BBQ. This is why I love summertime.

I ate my weight in pita chips before dinner… We had Red Hot Chili Pepper flavored by New York Style. I didn’t even know they made pita chips…but I can 96% guarantee I won’t buy another brand ever again. Oh.My.God. These taste like bbq fritos. I also dipped them in roasted red pepper hummus. I was a spicy pepper loving fool.

When it was time for dinner I wasn’t THAT hungry…But i needed a little more than pita chips to keep me full til the morning so I grabbed a thin sliced chicken breast, a piece of corn and a side salad (spinach, tomatoes, avocado).

My meal screams summmmmmmmmmmmmmmer. Yes, it talks.

I also skipped dessert and had a cup of watermelon instead

Fruit is NOT a dessert…unless its served in something warm… with a dollop of ice cream. And that’s final.

See ya tomorrow 🙂

QUESTIONS: Do you consider fruit as dessert? Can you think of another name for the Mini Vegan Oatmeal Blueberry and Carob Chip cookies?? Please and Thank you.

  1. Heck no fruit isn’t a dessert! I will say blueberry chip!

  2. Fruit is NOT a dessert — heck to the no! Unless it is a crumble or a cobbler…with ice cream.

I’d say call the cookies Breakfast cookies because truly they qualify.

And btw, I love bbq fritos

  3. i do like fruit for dessert but i always overdo it! way too much fruit = unhappy tummy the next day! you can call the cookies “yummy” because that’s how they look!

  4. I can definitely do fruit as a dessert – especially watermelon!! 🙂

  5. Blueberry oat chip cookies?
And fruit ALONE is definitely not a dessert. Apple crisp or strawberry shortcake are acceptable fruity desserts in my book though.

  6. Yummmmm! Those cookies look incredible 🙂
And I agree about the fruit thing. Don’t get me wrong I love a good fruit crisp or cobbler, but its not dessert unless there’s cool whip or ice cream on top 😉

  7. Blueberry oat chippers!!

    Baked apples=dessert
Ice cream or froyo with fruit=dessert
fresh fruit or fruit salad=NOT dessert but delicious anyways!!

  8. Hurry up and get to NY! I want to feast with you 🙂

  9. I think you forgot to mention those cookies were part of my giveaway. Yep, but it’s ok, you can still send them to me, not problem 🙂 haha…

  10. Damn it your cereal combo beats mine for sure! I love Kashi Honey Sunshine, need to get my hands on those asap 🙂 Love those cookies, they look delish

  11. Umm you’re totally right about fruit NOT being a dessert! So sir-ee, not even close! Wrap some pastry dough around it, and then it’ll pass. 😉 Or bake it into cookies, like those delicious-looking morsels of yum in the picture above. I’ve never tried blueberries in baked goods, but clearly I’m missing out!

Okay, so WHEN are you moving? Can you still meet for Pinkberry this weekend?! xoxo ❤

  12. OBCC. Oatmeal Blueberry Carob Cookies 🙂 vegan and mini are implied I guess? haha AND ALSO THEY LOOK AMAZING !!

  13. I definitely eat fruit for dessert…but usually have chocolate or some other sugary delight on the side. 😉

    These cookies look soooo yummy!

  14. VegOat BluebCarob Cookies. Just shorten everything. The way God intended.

I consider fruit a dessert if the words cobbler or crumble come after it.

  15. I usually consider fruit to be dessert, but I can’t say I ever go for it. The cookies look great, by the way! If they’re mini, I’d probably eat quite a few per sitting, then again, my cookies rarely make it out of dough form!

  16. I consider fruit a dessert! Anything that sweetens your palette does it for me, I’ve even had chocolate milk and called it “dessert.”

  17. I consider fruit as a dessert, but if given the choice… it’ll be chocolate every time! 🙂

  18. I had fruit for dessert last night! Spinach, strawberry & goat cheese salad! 🙂

  19. I don’t consider fruit a dessert. I consider fruit a healthy snack! Dessert is supposed to be used on a couple hundred discretionary calories 🙂

  20. These are totally an acceptable breakfast 🙂

I don’t consider fruit a real dessert, but I usually eat it after every meal to get a little sugar in!

  21. omg – hello giveaway?!? These sound amazing!!! I don’t think of fruit ONLY as a dessert (because i have it for breakfast or snacks, too), but I do try to use fruit as a dessert after dinner, for example.

  22. fruit is sooo not a dessert. When I think dessert I have pictures of cookie dough/brownie/ice cream/hot fudge inmy head… yum!

  23. How can you NOT lick the spoon?! That would be HORRIBLE 😉 I love raw dough more than the baked cookies I think!!!
