WIAWABW

Can you guess the title? What I ate, wore and baked Wednesday. I’m clever, I know.

Breakfast: Chobani Black Cherry and one of Mila’s Granola bars (which are delicious) and a pomegranate green tea

photo (3)

Lunch: Turkey and avocado whole wheat wrap w/ roasted red peppers, lettuce and onion (was too full to eat the veggies)

photo (9)

Dinner: Apple stuffing in a pork chop and a side of fresh corn w/ old bay

photo (4)

I also had some blueberries and a homemade s’more that went un-pictured. Bad blogger.

I wore this new dress I got at Target on Sunday and TWO people came into my work wearing the same one!

I also made these Monster Cookies which I added everything but the kitchen sink into.

I enjoyed one cookie while Adam had a couple and we both agreed we needed to get them out of the house so I sent them to work with him this morning. I’m not sure if people at work love it or hate it when I do this!

I’m off for a morning workout before I head to work.

QUESTIONS: Do you send treats into work with your significant other because you don’t want them in the house? Do you think they love it or hate it?

  1. That is SO funny about the dress!
Mmmmm those cookies look so yummy! 🙂

  2. I pretty much only bake when I know other people will be around to eat it! I have no willpower when it comes to things like brownies, cookies, cupcakes, etc!

  3. Don’t you hate when only on occasion you buy a couple things from Target, and then you later find out that everyone bought the same thing?

Sending the cookies to work reminds me of this past weekend when it was my sister’s birthday. She had a “mysterious” chocolate cake left over after all the parties, so I think we all decided that instead of eating it (we preferred our homemade desserts), it would be sent straight into work with my sister.

  4. Ok but i bet you looked the best in the dress!

  5. I will definitely send them in with Shane, I’m sure a room full of Marine guys don’t give two hoots about how fattening they are and will gobble them down. 🙂 Those cookies look amazing!!

  6. Love it! The black cherry chobani is definitely my fav. 🙂

  7. 1. thats hilarious about your dress 2. I totally do that with treats and I’m sure they love it! who wouldn’t 🙂

  8. I love that dress! That’s why I don’t buy from mainstreams stores around here. I live in the middle of nowhere so we have 2 stores that people buy from.

You’re cookies look so yum though! I used to love it when my mom bought the m&m cookies

  9. I’ve never brought treats in to my hubby’s work but I have bourhg them in to my own. Not so much to get rid of them, but to share the wealth! I always say some for myself though! Those monster cookies look incredible!

  10. I always send baked goods in to work with the boyfriend, I’m pretty sure they all love it! The cookies look delicious. Happy WIAW!

  11. I only bam when other people are around to help me eat them! Otherwise I am not to be trusted, and I’ll probably end up binging! Oops
These do look so tasty thought , I am loving the marshmallow addition!

  12. Totally do this…I just sent a dozen+ cookies leftover from the Sweet Swap to my hubby’s work. He’s bad at sharing though and ends up eating most of them..ha!

  13. Hahaha that is the fear I have of buying stuff from Target!!! I feel like everyone else owns the same thing! There is a girl at work that has the same dress as me, and I’m always scared we will wear it on the same day, haha

  14. Put up the recipe for the apple stuffing!! How do you find the time to make these elaborate meals every night? Adam’s a lucky guy!

  15. APPLE STUFFING? did you make this deliciousness?

  16. Get out- two people wearing the same dress!? Crazy.
Every time I bake I try to convince my fiance to bring the treats into work. He’s definitely got something against it for some reason! I usually end up bringing them to my job, which really doesn’t help cause then they’re still around me!

  17. Not gonna lie that cookie is what brought me to your site! AND i’m pretty excited about it because we’re having a bake sale tomorrow and I’m going to make these!
hah yes I do bake stuff and then send it in .. or send SOME of it in. I like to have a few leftovers

  18. Mmm monster cookies! yummm 😀

  19. I love that dress- and its the second super cute one I’ve seen on blogs this week from Target. I want to go now, but I always spend waaay too much money when I do. Yikes 🙂

  20. M&Ms are the best in cookies!!

I buy most of my clothes at Target, so I always see people wearing the same thing- it’s kind of embarrassing when my middle aged coworkers and I have the same outfit on, haha!

  21. That’s my kind of cookie.

Add pretzels or potato chips next time.

    Trust me.

  22. We definitely keep the treats to ourselves. 🙂 We’re greedy…and hungry!

So funny that two people came into work with the same dress! You should be in People with “who wore it best.” I’d vote for you, Miss Fashionista!

  23. i always give treats away! i take them to work, give them to friends, whatever it takes! it’s not really to get them out of the house ’cause i don’t really have a sweet tooth. i just LOVE to bake! i’m not sure if they love it or hate it … my g’parents love it for sure, though!

  24. Wearing the same dress/outfit as someone else (or two people!) can go one of two ways: you can look better in it, or you can look worse in it. I’m guessing you looked WAY better! 🙂

Monster cookies are my absolute favorite, but I seriously cannot make them without eating the entire batch in one sitting. I once ate at least three dozen over the course of one day…I wish I was kidding.

  25. Those cookies look amazing! I always eat treats when they are in the house, sending them away is probably a great way to get rid of them!

  26. oh MANNNNNN your food looks good!!! LOVE that dinner and recipe- as always!

  27. Nice looking pork chop. 🙂

  28. Oh yes, I definitely send out extra cookies to the boy’s office. It’s mostly men in there and they seem to LOVE it, so we all kind of win!

  29. I definitely send my treats into the office with me (probably so I can have just one more) but I will hardly bake on a Friday because that just means I will spend all weekend eating what sugar and butter infused deliciousness I made.

  30. I send all kinds of stuff to my husband’s office – things that I make, party leftovers, etc. It ALL gets eaten. Which is interesting but a bit scary – who knows what kind of people my husband works with??!

  31. Haha, the dress dilemma has happened to me a few times too! That’s what we get for shopping at Target! But their clothes are so dang cute! I can’t resist.

I loooove Monster cookies. I bet the ooey goeey marshmallows made them deliciously decadent! xoxo

  32. Gahh I hate when I see someone wearing what I’m wearing…awkward! I think people find a love-hate in sending stuff to the office… it’s delicious but bad for the belly!

  33. Work is definitely the one place I know I can definitely get goods out of the house if I need to. The guys I work with are like garbage disposals!

  34. Loving all of the mix-in’s for the cookies- YUM 😀 I do the same thing to Craig- I always send him in with goodies because if we have them here then we will eat them all…which we don’t need!
& I LOVE Old Bay on my corn too!

  35. Cute dress!

And Christopher’s coworkers LOVE it when he brings stuff in! 🙂
